TCU Summer Music Saxophone Camp

Course Description

This two-day workshop will include a lecture-demonstration by TCU Saxophone Professor Joe Eckert, a group masterclass and performance session, a discussion of saxophone chamber music, jazz style analysis and specific practice/performance tips for the aspiring saxophonist. Saxophonists with at least 3 years experience are encouraged to apply.

SMI Auditors are non-participants who must be 18 years or older. A list of hotels will be provided to auditors needing overnight accommodations.

*Overnight participants will need to bring a bed sheet, blanket, pillow and towel. *Refund Policy: TCU reserves the right to cancel any program due to low pre-registration. Full tuition will be refunded if the class is cancelled by TCU. Registrations must be submitted by June 24, 2019. In the event that you have to cancel your registration, submit written notice to the Office of Extended Education. However, due to commitments to faculty and facility arrangements, applicants who withdraw after June 24, 2019 will forfeit all fees. No refund can be made if the participant is suspended, dismissed, or leaves the University without formally withdrawing, nor can any prorated reduction be made for temporary absence from the Workshop.
