Tips For Using PowerPoint Animations, Transitions & Embedded Media

Course Description

PowerPoint is an extremely popular tool for creating presentations for teaching, and the widespread distribution of information throughout all kinds of businesses. Surely everyone has seen many simple "bullet point" presentations in the past. Although the simple tools available in PowerPoint remain a streamlined and effective means of communication, with just a little effort, a lot of visual interest can be added to presentations by incorporating animations, transitions, image processing, sound editing and embedded video to enhance the experience. A separate video capture and editing tool is required to manage the source elements of the presentation, and a sound editor is a must for the audio enhancements. There are shareware and freeware packages available that are at low or no cost.
