My Ten Day Affair With "FIFI": Commemorative Air Force (CAF): Past, Present and Future

Course Description

The CAF was founded to acquire, restore and preserve in flying condition a complete collection of WW II combat aircraft which were flown by all military services of the United States, and selected aircraft of other nations, for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations of Americans. The B29/B24 Squadron based locally supports and flies one of only two B-29 bombers in the world, FIFI, as well as a B-24 Bomber, Diamond Lil'. This presentation will discuss the history of the CAF, as well as what it's like to go on tour in FIFI as a crew member and fly to various air shows in cities around the U.S.
