Fly Me to the Moon

Course Description

Mankind's greatest adventure ever was flying rockets a quarter of million miles from earth to land on the moon. Project Apollo was the largest technical challenge ever undertaken by anyone, anywhere. It was a staggering challenge that required huge new rockets, entirely new spacecraft and techniques. Astronauts put their lives at great risk. Why did we do it? Who made it work? Why was it important? Today some claim lunar landings were faked. Where they? Your instructor was a member of the Kennedy Space Center Launch Team for all manned Apollo missions.
