Whose Story is it? Point of View in Creative Writing

Course Description

First person. Second person. Third person close. Third person omniscient. If your head is spinning trying to figure out what the various points of view are and which ones you should write in, this class will clarify all of that and more. Through writing exercises, examples and explanations, you'll learn what each different point of view entails and the pros and cons of writing in the assorted perspectives. You'll also receive resource lists of recommended reading, workshops, classes and writing organizations and have the opportunity to receive feedback on your own work.

Course registrations cancelled one week or less in advance of the start of the class will not be refunded, but fees, less a $25.00 administrative fee, can be applied to another class within one year. Courses cancelled by TCU will be refunded 100%.
