Understanding Social Security

Course Description

If you're approaching Social Security age or are in your first year as a Social Security recipient, this course may answer many of your questions and help you make good retirement decisions. The following topics will be covered: how to make the most of your Social Security benefits whether you are married, divorced, widowed or have already filed; the best time to begin having your benefits taxed; how to increase your benefits; and how distributions from retirement accounts can impact your benefits.

Course registrations cancelled one week or less in advance of the start of the class will not be refunded, but fees, less a $25.00 administrative fee, can be applied to another class within one year. Courses cancelled by TCU will be refunded 100%.
