Wood Carving for Beginners

Course Description

Learning how to carve raw wood by hand into a finished piece involves various techniques and tools. You'll need the right equipment, like chisels, knifes, gouges and hammers, plus an understanding of the techniques of sanding, painting and finishing. You also need the right wood for the project. By the end of the course, you'll know how to whittle a stick and create a relief carving on a board.
