The Art of the Korean Tea Ceremony

Course Description

In this class, you'll be introduced to the art and performance of the Korean tea ceremony. The ceremony is called "Dado" ("way of tea"), and it is an art form and a time-honored ceremony rooted in tradition. The traditional Korean teas are produced by harvesting the buds of tender leaves during the springtime and steeping the flavor from the leaves, giving you an astringent to complex taste depending on the variety of tea. In Korea, tea has always been more than just a simple beverage.
