Is Sasquatch Real--Or What?

Course Description

This lecture explores the process of naming a newly discovered living species and its placement into the scientific literature. Explanations of how unnamed animals may be thought to exist but without scientific classification as to species are presented. No background in biological science is necessary. The only prerequisite is an open mind. [Note: This presentation has been revised from "Cryptid to Holotype" given previously provided during 2018-2019 in the Silver Frog.] This presentation is intended as a wildlife conservation endeavor based on the principle that just because an animal does not have a scientific name does not mean that it does not exist and its conservation ignored.

Please note: this course requires membership in Silver Frogs Membership Fall 2019
