Creative Writing: Fiction & Poetry: Grades 6 - 11

Course Description

Students in this camp will experiment with two creative genres-poetry and fiction-as a means of developing different imaginative approaches to experience. The emphasis will be on generating raw material, getting familiar with some of the basic strategies for reading and talking about others' writing, and revising a selection of your work for optional publication on our class's webzine. This camp is sponsored by the TCU Center for Digital Expression (CDEx). For more information, visit https://newmedia.tcu.edu/projects/community-programs/
