Course Description

American Sign Language (ASL) is the third most common language and continues to be one of the fastest growing languages to study in the United States. This visual language, designed to aid the deaf or hard of hearing, is a set of gesticulations and hand movements that correspond to the spoken word. You'll learn the manual alphabet and beginning vocabulary in order to effectively use sign language expressively and receptively. You'll also learn to converse with others in class.

Course registrations cancelled one week or less in advance of the start of the class will not be refunded, but fees, less a $25.00 administrative fee, can be applied to another class within one year. Courses cancelled by TCU will be refunded 100%.
