Effective Communication Strategies for People with Alzheimer's

Course Description

For people with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia, communication skills will gradually decline. Eventually, he or she will have more difficulty expressing thoughts and emotions. Challenges associated with communication can lead to frustration. It can be helpful to understand what changes may occur to be better prepared and make adjustments. Anticipating these changes and knowing how to respond can help everyone communicate more effectively. This class is offered in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association.

Courses cancelled by TCU will be refunded 100%.
