Rodeo 101: A Fan's Guide to the Sport of Rodeo

Course Description

There is no other sport more identified with Texas and Fort Worth in particular than rodeo. Rodeo 101 will educate participants on the history of rodeo in general and Fort Worth in particular. Participants will learn the event rules and what to look for when attending a rodeo, so they can better enjoy the experience. Additional topics will include women in rodeo and the evolution of the sport from the open range to the multi-million-dollar sporting event it is today. This class will include a behind the scenes tour and rodeo performance at Cowtown Coliseum.

Course registrations cancelled one week or less in advance of the start of the class will not be refunded, but fees, less a $25.00 administrative fee, can be applied to another class within one year. Courses cancelled by TCU will be refunded 100%.
