Wine & Food 101 with Chef Jon Bonnell

Course Description

Do you want to learn the basics of how to taste, read a wine list, and have enough knowledge not to be intimidated by wine conversation? Come discover what you really like, not just what the labels say you should. This two-day class is an introduction to the entire world of wine, taught for beginners who just want to be "in the know." Taste twenty-six different types of wine, from the inexpensive to the rare "cult" wines, while exploring the basics of wine tasting. This class will take place at Bonnell's.

Heavy appetizers will be provided as Chef Bonnell shares the basics of wine and food pairings. This class will focus on the fundamentals of white wines on the first night and transition to red wines on the second.

You must be 21 to register for this class.

Tuition includes $90 supply fee.
