The Golden Age of '60s Rock & Roll

Course Description

This course covers roughly the years 1960-1970 when Top 40 ruled the airwaves, focusing on the different types of music from folk to pop to psychedelic to the British Invasion. We will put the music of the Baby-boomer generation in the context of the "Angry Decade." We will listen to a lot of wonderful music and analyze some lyrics because that's what we did in the '60s!
