Classical Music 101: Keys to Enjoying the Fort Worth Symphony

Course Description

Would you like to start enjoying classical music or learn new ways to enjoy the music you already love AND experience it at Bass Hall? This course is here to help by introducing you to the most important eras of classical music history (Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern) and the composers who dominated those eras. Once those basics have been covered, put that knowledge into practice with an evening at Bass Hall with the Fort Worth Symphony the weekend of November 10-12. Class members will receive ticket discounts for the weekend performances. Music lovers of all experience levels are welcome! Ticket purchase information will be sent with course confirmation.

Course registrations cancelled one week or less in advance of the start of the class will not be refunded, but fees, less a $25.00 administrative fee, can be applied to another class within one year. Courses cancelled by TCU will be refunded 100%.
